The 1950's glamour is back. Retro style hair, make-up, accessories, eyelashes, red lips, calf length gowns, glitzy pins and more all have a heavy influence on our 'back to basics' bride. In this economy, we see more brides abiding by the mantra 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Mixing mother's old dress, Tiffany style blues (still in) faux or real fur shoulder accessories and more give more sentimental meaning to a bride's wedding day. Sleeves are making a strong comeback, however, the preferred gown remains a stunning strapless number with a great ball gown style skirt.
Lace is moving into the mix from rhinestones ad wedding cake style skirts.
Veils remain medium length for easy transition into a party hat.
